Until relatively recently, baby boy clothes were traditionally available in a very narrow range of colors and styles. Of course there were white and pale blue for the plain footed sleepers but even the romper suits for summer came with very limited choices. The main source of anything even remotely special came from friends and family members who resorted to knitting or other creative approaches.

Today, it seems as if every celebrity is designing and marketing his or her own perfume. Cosmetics and fragrances are among the three most profitable consumer products in the United States. Fragrances, perfumes, and colognes are more popular now than ever, and the act of designing your own perfume has become a recent trend. This trend does not only have to apply to the business world or the celebrity atmosphere.

Barbie is a fashion doll created by Mattel. She was launched March 1959 and from then on has been one of the famous dolls. It is believed that credit for Barbie’s creation and success should be given to American businesswoman Ruth Handler who was inspired by German doll called Bild Lilli and eventually was led to the idea of developing a similar doll but should be called Barbie.
